Teryl Rothery

Teryl Rothery, a Canadian actress, is most well-known for her portrayal of Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1. Other notable TV roles she's appeared in include Lt. Maggie Weston on 'Exosquad, M.O.M. Carol Bloom in Martin Mystery', Grace Sherman and J.L. In 'The Good Dr'. In the big screen, she has been in films such as "Magic in the water" and 'Whisper' as well as "What an idiot". Rothery, a native British Columbian, has always wanted to be a performer. When she was 13 years old, young, she began her stage career as a dancer in "Bye Bye Birdie. She was awarded the Most Outstanding Performer award for her performance in the production of "Annie Get Your Gun" by the company that produced her. She is a skilled voice actor who began her television career in 1986 as Mai who voiced the character on the BLT dub version Japanese anime Dragon Ball. One year later, she was a screen actress in a show called 'Stingray'. Active since 1980, Rothery has accumulated over 170 credits from TV and film in her resume to date. Rothery made her screen debut in 1994's family drama film "Andre". She played Beth in the 1995 fantasy drama, Magic in the Water. In 2005, she was a part in the direct-to-video film "The Sandlot 2". In the 2007 crime drama Whisper she shared screen space alongside Blake Woodruff and Jennifer Shirley. She made her most recent filmtic appearance in 2014's romantic comedy called 'What an Idiot.
