Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on the various platforms of CNN as well as HLN. In addition, she is the producer on camera and co-executive for the DIY NETWORK television special titled LAST HOUSE RUNNING that premiered the 30th of March, 2012. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER which came out from Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston she also offered the entertainment and lifestyle reports as the special assignment reporter on a daily basis. She was the weather forecaster for weekends forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami prior to joining WB56. She's held a number of meteorology, report, and television positions. They include News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem. Also, she worked for the CBS channel in New York City as a frequent meteorologist filling in on The Saturday Early Show.
